You Jump I Jump?

Someone once asked,

"Say, we're up on the air, and falling down. Only one of us can be saved. Who would that be?"

There are many kind of answers I can give.

1. Save me only. I'm the girl. I'm still young and had much to do.
2. Save him only. OK I love him and I want to sacrifice my life for him.
3. Save us both. Hey why don't we try saving us both. You know, miracles happen

4. Nobody got saved.

5. Can't you not ask this question?



What would people answer to such question? I don't want to just answer for the sake of answering, but when such thing really occur, I would do as I said.


We've seen in the dramas, that the main character sacrificed himself , or maybe his eyes so that the girlfriend can live happily afterward; or the girlfriend was willing to be the housemaid of the evil mother of boyfriend so she could spend more time with him, and so on.

Seriously, I don't think that's cool. If a girlfriend dies because of the boyfriend, then he'd become a loser and live with regret. If the boyfriend dies for his girlfriend, then she'll live alone afterward with sorrow and sadness. At least that's what I thought.


"Let's die together!" I finally answered, and he smiled, for hearing the same answer he had in his mind.

"Yeah, how could we ever lived again without each other kan?" He replied.


I've never thought we would have the same answer, for people will easily answer number 1 and 2. I don't know if he was lying or sweet talking, but I really meant what I said, and it felt good. I really was feeling good the whole day, reminiscing the moment.


But we broke up anyways, and still living without each other. However, that's a beautiful moment I'll never forget. Despite of all the bad memories, I choose to remember that part only. Because of all the answers, we both chose that one.
